Professional Dog Trainers can be the foundation to many Handler/Retriever teams. Noting the word “Team” that is developed and earned by each Dog and Handler. Some folks state that to play this game successfully, you need to work with a Pro Trainer, or have your dog with a Pro Trainer. This is an Age Ole dilemma!
The Hunt Test Program was initially setup for those folks with slightly different objectives than the Field Trial Competitions. It was for the “Weekend Warriors”. The folks that work all week and play with their retrievers all weekend. Whether you are a Hunter, Hunt Test Handler, or Field Trial Handler, a Professional Trainer can help you achieve your Goals. They offer so much knowledge! Direction! and Can offer Step by Step Building!
Discloser: Marin Retriever Club is listing all of the Professional Trainers in our membership, with their approval. We respect all of their capabilities. We do not promote one over the other. It is up to each individual handler to contact for evaluation and setup their own training program.
